I was wondering how to chat on facebook using the computer? I am sure a lot of you use your I phone to chat on facebook. Any suggestions would be appreciate it. Thank you.
I don't personally even have a Facebook, but here is how I set it up for a blind friend that wanted to do so.
I used MSN and Skype to set it up. Both clients are 100% accessible and if you are logged in to one you can know when your friends log on to Facebook and even start and receive messages with them. AIM is another good tool for this.
You'll have to set your Facebook up, and if you are wanting new friends, go to Facebook to get them, but after you have them both these clients are great media to chat.
Thank you for the suggestion. I all ready have a Facebook account so how would I set it up with msn or aim
you can now chat on facebook mobile:
http://m.facebook.com
log in to the acount, and press on chat.. you'll see a list of all your friends who are online- just press enter on who you want.
Is it now possible to chat Facebook via KeyChat now?
Setting up Facebook with either client I talked about is as simple as tabbing to add services. If you use either you'll know, if not go for something easier like the poster suggested above.
Thank you for all of your suggestions. I figure out how to link it to my Windows messenger.
That is a nice method. Smile. It really works great. Now add outlookor windows live mail, to it and you've got it going on.
Or you could try out Miranda IM, which is a great tool. Try http://miranda-im.org
And another IM program you can use that would work well is Instantbird (at http://instantbird.org). That's what I've been using anyway. *smile* Overall, it is a very simple IM program with basic features, but I like it; it is really easy to use/learn to use.
